Airconstruct is pleased to announce another successful retro-fit project completed for DJAG Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General).
Airconstruct HVAC were engaged to upgrade DJAG’s main Data Centre in Brisbane. Vertivco® PEX Water Cooled CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units were selected for this project. These units are able to deliver value for money and energy efficiency to comply with green energy requirements while providing versatile cooling options. These units were also compatible with the existing BMS system to provide the monitoring and management required by the Queensland Government.
Datacenters are challenging environments loaded with risk rogue piece of dust, an adventurous water droplet or a mischievous metal filing can have disastrous consequence. We took great care in the planning and execution of this project to mitigate the added risks involved in such a mission critical environment. A high calibre temporary cooling solutions was used and Airconstruct were able to remove the existing units and replace them with zero downtime or interruptions to DJAG’s core business, and we were able to do all this on time and in budget.
