What is Airconstruct?
Company Profile
Airconstruct H.V.A.C was established in July 2001. Our purpose is to design, construct, integrate and maintain HVAC systems for the government, construction and infrastructure sectors across Australia and the South Pacific region.
The founder and Director, David Jones and his team draw on a combined 60 years of industry experience and the company continues to build on its core of safety and technical excellence while maintaining environmental compliance.
Airconstruct operates from facilities in Mackay, Brisbane and Clermont and upholds its reputation of delivering turn key projects in complex working environments.
We are currently preparing for our Third Party Certification Audit to be benchmarked and certified in accordance with JAS-ANZ for the following international standards ISO 9001:2015, Quality Systems 14001:2014 Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety management and ISO 31000: 2018 Risk Management.
Scope of Services
HVAC Services
- We design and construct new systems, and repurpose you existing systems for Commercial and Civic Buildings, Medical Facilities, Modular and Fixed Data Centres, H.V. Switch rooms, Accommodation camps, and Infrastructure and special purpose facilities.
- We are QBCC Unlimited Design Mechanical services and Airconditioning HVAC Contractors. We operate across multiple industry sectors and layers of government, across Queensland.
- We provide targeted strategies for compliance maintenance and energy optimisation of all leading manufactured equipment including Temperzone, Actron Air, Sigma, Samsung, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric and Toshiba.
- Chilled water systems including process cooling equipment and computer room air-conditioning.
- We have extensive experience on chilled water systems including process cooling equipment and computer room air-conditioning.
- We carry out Service and maintenance on leading brand plant Air dryers such as Champion, Boreas, Frigomatic and Donaldson.
- We provide service and maintenance to amenity refrigeration equipment including Manitowoc and Hoshizaki ice makers, Orford, Williams and Skope upright fridges, custom built cool rooms. Zip and Billi under bench heat/cool units.
- We provide Electrical automation and fault detection systems backed with Remote monitoring and desktop support via BACnet or 5G network.
- We have analysis equipment to measure filtration effectiveness, and determine if upgrades can be achieved without performance degradation to provide a better working environment.
Indoor Air Quality
- Hydroflush sanitation of room airconditioners, Airhandling units a nd central plant air distribution systems.

- Indoor air quality testing and sampling in accordance with ISO16814.
- Robotic duct cleaning polymer insulation remediation services and Nanocyn treatment.
- Ultra Violet and advanced hydrated photocatalytic oxidation or air purification.
- Compliance tracking and audit scheduling via our proprietary Airconnect Database.
- Qualitative risk assessments in accordance with A.S. 3666.4
- Industry’s best trained Airhygienists all holding Certificate 2 Airconditioning Hygiene NAT10829.
Energy Conservation
- Energy audits of HVAC and general ventilation equipment.
- Duct leakage assessments and sealing for AS4254 compliance.
- Control system upgrades to allow fresh air harvesting in cooler winter months.
- Retro commissioning and performance upgrades to reduce energy costs.
- Heat exchanger protection to ensure maximum efficiency over the life of the equipment.
